About
Tony and Angela Moore
When
you meet Tony and Angela, you may be surprised.
They’re just normal, ordinary people.
But, after you’re around them awhile, you may notice that it is
through ordinary people that God chooses to do extraordinary things.
They do not believe they are unique in this, but that God would love to
be glorified through everyone who loves Him and wants to obey Him.
Tony and Angela are busy raising their five kids, working, going to games and
driving their kids to practices, just like everyone else.
What is extraordinary is through this everyday, normal life, God has
placed a love in their hearts for Him, His Son, Jesus, and for others who may
not know Him yet.
Tony and Angela don’t consider themselves Pastors. They just consider
themselves being obedient to God. It’s
that simple. Study the Bible, then
teach what you know, out of love for others and love for God.
It’s pretty much what Jesus boiled the commandments down to… and
following this, has become a thrilling adventure for them and their family.
Tony was born in Ohio, and then moved to Minnesota, when his parents found
some farmland available back in 1978. He
was an active member of the Hector, MN Church of God.
Tony went to college and graduated in 1992 from University of North
Dakota, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Studies.
He then relocated back to Tipp City, Ohio, where he could find
employment in January of 1993.
About that same time, Angela, who had grown up as a part of the Macomb,
Illinois Church of God, was working as a bank examiner for the Federal Reserve
Bank of St. Louis, with a Bachelor’s degree in finance.
Tired of the traveling, she decided to relocate to the Tipp City, Ohio
area for employment in May, 1993. They
met in October, 1993 and married the following year, in December, 1994.
They became active in the Pleasant Hill, Ohio Church of God in various
ministries, including Tony serving as a deacon, the two of them being Senior
Youth Leaders, teaching a youth Sunday School class, worship, originating a
Mommy & Me group which developed into over 200 women on our mailing list;
The Sonshine Kids Wednesday Night kids ministry with over 50 kids in
attendance, and Angela leading a women’s bible study, called the Women of
HOPE.
When they moved to Knightstown, Indiana because of Tony’s new job for
Michelin Ag Tires, they found themselves without a church home.
After an extended amount of time looking for a local church where
people were excited about studying their bibles and learning more about God
and His Son, Jesus, and the hope that we share in eternal life in the age to
come, and where their kids could attend church with the kids that attended
their same school district… Tony & Angela felt led to begin ministering
and serving within their local community.
Thus, Knightstown Family Fellowship was born!
When you meet Tony & Angela, you will soon find that they are
non-judgmental, accepting and loving people, who have a heart’s desire to
share what they’ve learned and lived out, with others.
They are honest and real. They
are NOT perfect. They do not have
the perfect family. Nor do they
ever want that burden placed upon themselves and their children for being so.
They believe that KFF should be a place where you can come to share
your burdens, be encouraged and strengthened by one another and God’s word,
and where people can be REAL with each other.
Their desire is that KFF is a community of believers, who will strive
for obedience to God’s word, knowing that we are all sinners and still
working and struggling with certain areas, and that perfection and completion
will not occur until the return of Christ.
